Black Kids Rock!
My name is Pamela Nephew and I recently launched a new organization named Black Kids Rock!
Black Kids Rock! is a youth empowerment and mentoring organization established to promote the arts for young children of color, as well as to encourage dialogue and analysis of the ways children of color are portrayed in the media.
Black Kids Rock! is dedicated to the healthy development of young boys and girls. Black Kids Rock! seeks to build the self-esteem and self-worth of young children of color by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves. Our goal is to continually seek opportunities to enrich the lives of young children of color between the ages of 6 to 21 years old through mentorship, arts education, cultural exploration and public service.
